Job Title: IT Specialist for Windows, Linux & Virtualization
Reports to: Head of IT Systems Department
Location: Tirana
Closing Date: Novemer, 10th 2026

Purpose of the position:

Administer, maintain, secure and optimize the Bank’s Windows/Linux server infrastructure and VMware/Hyper-V virtualization platforms to ensure stability, performance and reduced operational risk.

Main Responsibilities:

• Administer and maintain Windows Server and Linux systems throughout their lifecycle.
• Administer VMware vSphere and Microsoft Hyper-V platforms, including resources, configurations and virtual machine availability.
• Review monthly vulnerability scanning reports and coordinate risk-based remediation of findings.
• Plan, test and deploy security patches in accordance with change management and rollback procedures.
• Implement and validate system hardening against approved security standards and baselines.
• Administer Active Directory, DNS and Group Policy within authorized access and procedures.
• Monitor the health, performance, capacity and availability of servers and virtualization hosts.
• Automate operational tasks using PowerShell/Bash and maintain technical documentation.
• Collaborate on incident resolution, backup, recovery and audit activities.

Formal criteria:

• University degree in Computer Science, IT or a related field.
• Experience administering Windows Server and Linux in enterprise environments.
• Experience with VMware vSphere and Microsoft Hyper-V, Active Directory and Group Policy.
• Knowledge of networking, storage, patch management and hardening; Microsoft, VMware or Linux certifications are an advantage.

• Security mindset with strong documentation and service continuity focus.
• Clear communication and collaboration with other IT teams.
