Job Description:
The Online Banking Operations Control Specialist aims to ensure the correct, secure and compliant functioning of all operational processes related to Online Banking services. The position contributes to minimizing operational risks, ensuring data accuracy and increasing the quality of customer service.
Main Responsibilities:
- Checks and verifies the registration of new customers on the Online Banking platform, ensuring compliance with the relevant documentation and approved procedures.
- Checks and verifies data changes for existing customers on the Online Banking platform.
- Controls banking transactions carried out through Online Banking, by performing comparisons and verifications between the Online Banking platform and the central banking system (CBS).
- Identifies and reports discrepancies, errors or operational anomalies, following up on their resolution in cooperation with the relevant structures.
- Archives and administers documentation of daily activities, in accordance with approved policies and procedures.
- Contributes to the initiation, design and improvement of operational controls, in order to increase efficiency and strengthen the internal control environment.
- Prepares periodic and ad-hoc reports for the sector, department, division and other business lines.
- Participates in functional and operational testing during new developments, improvements or new implementations of the Online Banking platform.
- Cooperates with other departments on issues related to Online Banking services.
- Performs any other duties related to the function, as assigned by the Bank, in accordance with operational needs.
Formal criteria:
- University Degree in Economics, Finance, Banking, Economic Informatics or similar fields.
- Minimum 1 year of work experience in the banking sector, preferably in banking operations, Online Banking or digital services.
- Experience in operational control or verification processes is considered an advantage.
- Knowledge of Online Banking products and services.
- Knowledge of banking processes, operational controls and operational risk management is an advantage.
- Good analytical skills and high attention to detail.
- Ability to work with banking systems and digital platforms.
- Ability to work in a team and communicate in a professional manner.
- Knowledge of English (written and oral).
- Very good knowledge of MS Office package (Excel, Word).
