Position:  Cash Processor, Central Vault & Safe Box Sector

Reports to:  Head of Central Vault & Safe Box Sector

Location:   Tirana

Job Description:

The Cash Processor is responsible for receiving, counting, verifying, processing and administering Cash in the Bank’s Central Vault. This role ensures that all Cash operations are carried out with high accuracy and in full compliance with the Bank’s policies and procedures.

Main Responsibilities:

• Processes Cash collected in the Bank’s Central Vault, in accordance with the standards set by the Bank of Albania regulations.
• Counts Cash collected in the Bank’s Central Vault.
• Enters into the system (Flex Cube) transactions carried out in relation to cash movements between the Central Cash Office, Bank branches, Level II Banks, Bank of Albania, Off site ATMs.
• Packing of Banknotes in 100-piece Catetas with cross-banding according to the standards set by the Bank of Albania
• Preparation of relevant documents regarding the differences of Banknotes during the processing process
• Preparation of cash, filling of offsite ATM cassettes and placing security links.
• Training of new staff on cash processing, procedures and standards set by the regulations of ABI Bank & Bank of Albania.

Formal criteria:

• University Degree.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in the Banking Sector (preferably in the role of Teller or Cash Processor).
• Very good communication skills.
• Ability to work in a team.
• Positive attitude towards assigned responsibilities and tasks, as well as advice and recommendations from Managers.
