Job Title:                    Telecommunications and Networking Senior Specialist

Location:                    Tirana

We are seeking to recruit an experienced and very dynamic employee, in the position of Telecommunications and Networking Senior Specialist.

Objectives:

• Assure a standards based, continuous and secure functioning of the WAN and LAN of the Bank, networking equipment and connections with all external networks, in cooperation with respective entities.
• Protect information systems from both internal and external threats, ensuring continuity and development of activities.
• Analyze and monitor on regular basis the network traffic, network performance logs, propose courses of action in order to improve the efficiency of the network operations.
• Cooperation and coordination with other structures of the IT Division, aiming to the successful implementation of new/running IT projects.
• Required technical skills:
• Advanced level of network knowledge especially Cisco technologies such as:
• Cisco ASA Next Generation Firewalls/FTD Appliances
• Cisco routers and switches
• Cisco Identity Service Engine (ISE Servers)
• Extensive experience with configuration of VPN connections (site-to-site VPN, remote VPN etc.)
• Extensive experience with Cisco telephony: Call Managers (CUCM) and Cisco Unity.
• Experience with proxy or similar tools (URL filtering, reverse proxy etc.)
• Experience with other NGFW vendors (i.e. CheckPoint)
• Very good knowledge of dot1x/radius authentication, automatic routing (EIGRP), access-list, QoS, zone-based-firewall configuration.
• Very good understanding of network monitoring (Solarwinds, or other similar tools.)
• Efficiency and experience in DNS servers, DHCP servers.

Formal Criteria:

• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in similar job position.
• Fluency in English
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Good communications skills
• Good team player and able to work autonomously
• Relevant certifications are desired but not required
• Experience in Banking IT sector is an advantage
