Activities

In April 2018, Tirana’s University of Arts, in the framework of appreciation for art and culture, organized a set of activities in honor of the Shkoder composer Tonin Harapi. Pianist, creator, pedagogue, art critic and publicist, Tonin Harapi performed for more than 40 years with a wide range of composition. The week of activities in honor of the well-known musician started on 2 April with the first concert with instruments to which he dedicated his creativity. The second day continued with inauguration of the Tonin Harapi Lecture Hall, and in the evening in the University of Arts Concert Hall, a musical evening with some of his parts for the voice. The festival drew to a close on 5 April with an orchestral concert directed by American conductor Glen Cortese.
